A small family of healers is here to meet your medical needs. Keep in mind that there are still limits to magical healing and some things are simply incurable.

There is no currency among the residents of Mt. Tucker. They use a barter system, trading goods or services for other goods or services.

All of the community’s children attend classes here. Classes are divided by age groups. Along with typical courses, mages are given lessons in managing their gifts.

This farm is tended by most of Mt. Tucker's adult and teenaged residents. Those that do not contribute in some way to the community, do not get a share of the spoils.

The liquor served at this bar is made here! We know it isn’t Jack or Jim or Jose or Jerry or other J names, but it’s warm going down and packs a punch.

A series of passages left behind by miners of yesteryear. Look out for bats and cave-ins.

The old boy scout cabins inhabited by the residents of Mt. Tucker.

During the war, P.M.H. was severely overrun with the sick and injured. Now, much of what wasn’t destroyed or scavenged is wasting away from disuse. Only one wing is still operational.

The scant few shops present in this once-thriving shopping mecca have very little stock and the prices are high, but this is the only place to shop in Pinecrest. Pay the price or do without.

Though Pinecrest once boasted a dozen schools, Gold Brook High School is the only one still in use. The campus was mostly unharmed in the war, but years of poor maintenance has left it in a terrible state. The facilities accommodate grades Pre-K through 12.

Accessible to both halves is a beautifully clear and pure lake. It is so named because of the perfect reflection of the sky on the still surface. Fishing and swimming are safe. The mountain stream feeding the lake is cleaner than the water they ration out in town.

When times get tough, the drunks get drunker. If you enjoy alcohol, music, fist fights, or all of the above, this is the hangout for you. The owner-operator doesn’t card, but they are a relatively decent judge of age.

Trees, bushes, and wild animals. Oh my! It’s a large forest covering the expanse of land between town and the mountains. With a diminished human population, a few species that were near extinction are faring better.

Any old, unused building. Volleyball manufacturing plant. The YMCA. The crappy Denny’s. Left-handed coffee cup shop. Get creative.
